Shower cold but taps hot
Hi all l have a Celtic FF combi boiler, which produces good hot
water.One of the rads in the flat needed to be replaced a few weeks ago,
since then the water pressure needs to be topped up often and although the
taps are hot in all sinks the shower is freezing.The shower is on a
separate tap, the tap is turned on halfway up the wall. Does
anyone have any ideas?My husband loves showers and is becoming grumpier by
the day!
what was the reason for replacing rad ? Was it rusted? It would
appear that you have a leak in your heating system . Perhaps a leaking
safety valve. This needs to be attended to first otherwise you will need
to replace more rads . The filters in the shower valve may be blocked and
need cleaning
Check the shower mixing valve in the tub.
